What are you currently doing?: I'm identifying effective high-speed rail policies in pursuit of a Masters of Science in Transportation at MIT.

How did you decide?: As a junior, I got the chance to work with Union Pacific Railroad through the Multidisciplinary Design Program. My experience introduced me to the world of transportation. After learning more about transportation planning, I realized it aligned with many of my interests and is a great opportunity to help with global sustainability issues.

How has physics helped you?: Physics gave me analytical tools, programming experience, and acomfort with advanced mathematics that have come in handy over and over again. It continues to serve as a strong foundation for the rest of my education.
