SLC study groups: Located in Chem building. Study groups for intro physics (and other sciences) courses.
Professors office hours: It is your professor’s job to help you, not just with learning physics, but with navigating college! Don’t be afraid to ask them for help, advice, or stop into their office hours to chat. Schedule advising appointment to talk to a professor one-to-one here.
Physics DEI: Overall goal is to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in the University of Michigan’s Physics Department; sometimes there are open meetings where anyone can voice their concerns.
SAPAC: The Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center provides free and confidential crisis intervention, advocacy, and support for survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking and sexual harassment who are University of Michigan students, faculty and staff.
CAPS: Counseling and Psychological Services. Clinical services include brief personal therapy for individuals, couples and groups and crisis intervention. Confidential, easily accessible online screenings 24-7 for mental health problems.
Services for Student with Disabilities: Provides accommodations and access to students with disabilities
Campus Mind Works: Mental health education and drop-in wellness groups for students with a diagnosed mental health disorder.
Wolverine Support Network: Peer-facilitated group meetings and community events.
