NERS graduate student Khalil Bryant will outline what problems fusion researchers are trying to solve right now, what fusion research can look like, what work U-M does in fusion, and how undergraduates can get involved.
In the style of a typical speaker series, undergrads will present on 2 slides each for about 4 minutes and answer 1 question at the end of the talk.
In collaboration with Physics Graduate Council, we are hosting Laura Zundel, PhD, a first-year resident in Imaging Physics at Henry Ford Hospital, Benjamin C. Musall, PhD, a board-certified medical physicist in imaging at Henry Ford Health, and Natalie Baughan, PhD, a U-M alum and board-certified therapeutic medical physicist at Henry Ford Health.
